Equity release leads for FCA-authorised advisers

For FCA-authorised advisers only. LeadsHunt is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We do not give advice on equity release or arrange it.

LeadsHunt sells exclusive equity release leads to FCA-authorised later life advisers in the UK. Each lead is a homeowner who has asked to speak to an adviser about equity release, sold to one adviser only and never resold.

Equity release lead facts

  • Status: open to FCA-authorised advisers
  • Exclusive or shared: exclusive. One adviser per lead, never resold.
  • Who submits: UK homeowners asking to speak to an adviser about equity release or a lifetime mortgage
  • Who can buy: FCA-authorised firms that advise on lifetime mortgages, and their appointed representatives

How equity release leads are qualified

Every homeowner answers a short set of questions before the lead is sent, and you see every answer. It is likely to cover:

  • Homeownership. That they own the property they live in, in the UK.
  • Who is enquiring. Whether the enquiry is for one homeowner or a couple.
  • What they want to discuss. Equity release in general or a lifetime mortgage.
  • Contact preferences. How and when they would like an adviser to get in touch.

LeadsHunt does not give advice. Our pages point homeowners to a qualified adviser rather than advise them ourselves.

How this programme works

Lifetime mortgages are regulated home finance, so this programme works differently from our home energy leads.

  • Buyers. Leads go only to firms with the right FCA permissions to advise on equity release.
  • Consumer Duty and vulnerable customers. Many homeowners who ask about equity release are older. Firms that buy these leads are expected to meet the FCA's Consumer Duty and to take extra care with customers in vulnerable circumstances.
  • Calls and consent. PECR and the Telephone Preference Service apply to every call, text and email. Each lead comes with a consent record.

This section is not legal advice.

Exclusive vs shared leads

A shared lead goes to several advisers at once, and an older homeowner can receive a run of calls about a decision that deserves time.

An exclusive lead goes to one adviser. The homeowner's consent covers contact from an FCA-authorised equity release adviser, so they hear from one firm and your call is expected.

Every LeadsHunt equity release lead is exclusive. We do not sell shared leads and we do not resell leads later.

FAQs

How do I apply for equity release leads?

Tell us about your firm on our contact page: the FCA permissions it holds, your firm reference number and the areas you cover. We review every enquiry before setting up a programme, and leads go only to firms authorised to advise on lifetime mortgages and their appointed representatives.

Are equity release leads exclusive?

Yes. Every LeadsHunt equity release lead is sold to one adviser only and is never resold later as an aged lead. The homeowner's consent covers contact from an FCA-authorised equity release adviser, so they hear from one firm rather than several, and your call is expected.

Who can buy equity release leads?

Only firms authorised by the FCA to advise on lifetime mortgages, and their appointed representatives. We do not sell these leads to unregulated firms or to introducers who would pass them on.

Have homeowners received advice before the lead is sent?

No. LeadsHunt does not give financial advice. A lead is a homeowner who has asked to speak to an adviser about equity release, with their answers to a few qualifying questions and a consent record. The advice, and every recommendation, comes from the authorised adviser who buys the lead.

How do you treat older homeowners who enquire?

With care. Our pages are written plainly, with no pressure to act and no promises about outcomes. Each lead goes to one adviser only, so nobody receives a run of calls. We expect advisers to follow the FCA's Consumer Duty and its guidance on customers in vulnerable circumstances.
