Questions installers ask
Straight answers about who can buy, exclusivity, delivery and consent. Can't find your question? Contact us and we'll answer it.
Getting started
How do I become a buyer?
Fill in the qualification form on our contact page. Tell us your trade, your MCS or Gas Safe registration, where you work and how many leads you can handle. We review every enquiry before any leads are sent. There is no self-serve checkout: we agree your programme with you first.
Which installers can buy LeadsHunt leads?
UK installation businesses with the right registration. Solar PV, battery storage and heat pump leads are sold only to MCS-certified installers. Boiler leads are sold only to Gas Safe registered engineers. We ask for your registration number when you apply and check it before sending your first lead.
Do you work with installers outside the UK?
No. LeadsHunt UK sells leads from UK homeowners to installation businesses based in the UK. If you are in the United States, visit leadshunt.co. We do not currently supply leads to installers in any other country, and every lead we sell comes from a homeowner in the UK.
Lead quality
What information comes with each lead?
Each lead includes the homeowner's name, phone number, email address and postcode, the type of work requested and their answers to our qualification questions. You also get the date and time of the enquiry and a consent record showing the wording the homeowner agreed to.
Consent and compliance
More detail is on our Compliance page.
Do your leads have consent to be contacted?
Yes. Every homeowner agrees to be contacted about their enquiry by the installer who buys it, and we record the time, the page and the exact wording they agreed to. That consent covers contact about their quote. It is not consent for unrelated marketing from you or anyone else.
Can I send marketing emails or texts to my leads?
You can email and text a lead about the quote they asked for, within the consent they gave. Sending wider marketing later is different: under PECR it needs separate consent or the soft opt-in, which applies to your own customers. If in doubt, ask your compliance adviser before sending.
